Album kompilasi yang berjudul "Very Best Of The Best 6" yang diproduksi oleh Kings Records ini dirilis pada tahun 1982, album ini berisi 17 lagu pop barat pilihan terbaik dari Kings Records yang beraroma musik slow tahun 70an,  album ini mengandalkan lagu "Down By The River (Bee gees), Isn't It Nice (Hollies), It's Me That You Need (Elton John)" yang telah dicantumkan pada cover depannya.

Dalam kaset ini terdapat pula lagu-lagu lain yang sangat cantik seperti "Rest Your Love On Me" yang dibawakan secara duet oleh penyanyi yang sudah dikenal yaitu Andy Gibb & Olivia Newton John, lagu tersebut pernah sangat populer di tanah air, bahkan pernah pula dibuat dalam versi Indonesia. Selain itu, lagu "Love Me" dari Michael Cretu juga sangat mengesankan.

Banyak juga penyanyi dalam album ini belum pernah saya kenal sebelumnya, namun ada beberapa nama yang sudah sangat dikenal oleh para penggemar lagu barat seperti Bee Gees, Hollies, Andy Gibb & Olivia Newton John, Elton John dan Classics. Namun setelah mendengarkan semua lagunya, saya yakin bahwa lagu-lagu tersebut pernah digemari pada zamannya.
