Best New Entry (Pan Audio)

Satu lagi perusahaan rekaman lagu barat di Indonesia pada era 80an yaitu Pan Audio, perusahaan yang berlogo mentereng ini sudah saya kenal sebelumnya, karena saya pernah mempunyai kasetnya, namun saya lupa judulnya. namun setahu saya perusahaan ini tidak banyak mengeluarkan album. Salah satu album mereka adalah kaset berjudul "Best New Entry" ini yang dirilis pada tahun 1986.

Seperti cover album kompilasi pada umumnya, kaset ini menggunakan foto dari penyanyi populer sebagai cover depannya, pada bagian track list lagu-lagunya juga dicantumkan durasi dari setiap lagu, hingga bisa menjadi nilai tambah dari kaset ini.

Album ini mengemas 16 lagu pilihan, beberapa diantaranya sempat menjadi hits di tanah air., banyak penyanyi tenar juga bercokol dalam kaset ini seperti: Queen, De Barge, Bob Dylan, Gazebo, Culture Club , Robert Palmer.  Lagu-lagunya mempunyai genre yang sangat bervariasi, seperti rock, disco, slow, punk dan reggae.

Lagu-lagu yang dapat dijadikan andalan dalam album ini antara lain adalah Radio Ga Ga (Queen), Time Will Reveal (De Barge)  Moonlight Shadow (Mike Oldfield), Pride (Robert Palmer). Dan secara keseluruhan lagu-lagu dalam kaset ini bisa dikatakan 'lumayan', mungkin saja ada lagu yang pernah menjadi favorit kamu 'terselip' disini.
