Hot Contemporary (Kings Records)

Album "Hot Contemporary" yang diproduksi oleh Kings Records ini dirilis pada tahun 1982, jka melihat dari sampul depan kasetnya tidak membuat rasa penasaran saya untuk melihat susunan lagu didalamnya, mungkin judul kasetnya saja yang membuat kita bisa sedikit melirik dan mengguman dalam hati 'cover ga penting, yang penting hot, siapa tau didalamnya terpendam lagu yang selama ini kita cari'.

Dari 15 lagu yang ada pada track listnya, saya langsung menangkap setidaknya 4 lagu yang bisa membuat selera jadul menggelora yakni Just Can't Get Enough (Depeche Mode), Louie, Louie ( Stanley Clarke & George Duke), Abracadabra (Steve Miller Band), Eye Of The Tiger (Survivor ), New Religion (Duran Duran). Beberapa lagu sempat menggebrak blantika musik pop mancanegara pada masa itu.

Akhirnya penasaran ingin menyantap lagu-lagu lainnya, ternyata rasanya 'mak nyuusss..' nempel teruus, hot nya ndak habis2... coba saja dengar kembali lagu  Imitation (Kid Creole & The Coconuts), I See Red (Frida), Love Is The Drug (Roni Griffith), Atlantic City Gambler (Grace Jones)... pancen hot teunan..

Buat sobat2 yang suka dengan lagu berirama hot yang bernuansa jadul, lagu-lagu dibawah ini boleh dicoba, dijamin dapat lebih menghangatkan suasana liburan kita agar tetap semangat... kalo belum percaya, silahkan cicipi hidangan dari Stanley Clarke & George Duke dibawah ini..
