Sweet Memories 8 (GL Record)

Kaset album kompilasi ini berisi 21 lagu memories yang pernah populer pada tahun 70-an, kaset yang diberi judul "Sweet Memories 8" ini diproduksi oleh perusahaan GL Records, konon kabarnya kaset ini dirilis pada awal tahun 80-an. Beberapa lagunya telah saya kenal namun sebagian besar lagu dan penyanyinya masih gelap bagi saya.

Dalam album ini, penyanyi asal negara Belanda Albert West menyumbangkan 3 buah lagu yaitu Ginnie Come Lately, Put Your Head On My Shoulder dan A Voice In The Wilderness, lagu tersebut pernah hits di Belanda, Jerman dan Austria. Penyanyi yang mempunyai nama asli Albert Westelaken ini memulai karirnya pada tahun 1973 dan selama karirnya dia telah menelurkan 29 album.

Ada juga penyanyi jadul yang menyumbangkan dua buah lagunya yaitu Slim Whitman dengan lagu Can't Help Falling In Love With You dan There Goes My Everything, Dan Eddy Smets yang membawakan lagu yang berjudul Angel dan  Welcome To My World.  

Beberapa lagu yang pantas anda dengar kembali antara lain All I Have To Do Is Dream (Andy Gibb & Victory), Please Help I'm Falling (Jenie Fricke), Let It Be Mine (Willie Nelson), I Love How You Love Me (Cheryl Ladd).
