Seperti biasanya, banyak sekali bertebaran lagu-lagu keren pada album kaset seri Top Track ini. Kaset yang diberi judul "Top Track Vol.6" ini diproduksi oleh perusahaan rekaman Billboard pada tahun 1984, kaset ini direkam diatas pita BASF dan memuat 15 buah lagu pilihan yang pernah populer pada tahun tersebut.
Kaset ini mengandalkan musisi-musisi beken seperti Rod Stewart, Chicago, Joe Jackson, Duran Duran, Human League, Sergio Mendes, OMD, seperti yang tertera pada cover depannya. Lagu-lagu yang dibawakan oleh musisi2 tersebut memang merupakan lagu yang wajib didengarkan kembali oleh para pencinta lagu jadul.
Disamping lagu-lagu yang dibawakan oleh musisi-musisi tersebut, bercokol pula lagu-lagu lain yang tidak kalah hebatnya seperti Tell Me I'm Not Dreamin' (Michael Jackson & Jermain Jackson), Exodus (Noah's Ark 2001)- (Boney M), I Send A Message (The Inxs) dan Almost Paradise (Mike Reno & Ann Wilson)
