Heavy Slow Rock Part 11 (Atlantic Records)

Jangan tertipu oleh penampilan, kaset yang berpenampilan kumal dan dekil karena termakan usia ini ternyata terpendam lagu-lagu yang sangat memikat, kaset ini dari awal hingga akhir menyuguhkan aroma musik slow rock 70an yang kental, dan kaset yang berjudul "Heavy Slow Rock Part 11" ini adalah hasil karya Atlantic Records yang dirilis pada tahun 1980.

Kaset ini berisi 14 buah lagu pilihan, beberapa penyanyi saya kurang mengenalnya dan bahkan lagu-lagunya pun belum pernah saya dengar sebelumnya, namun saya yakin para penggemar musik rock sangat akrab dengan penyanyi dan lagu dalam kaset ini.

Grup musik seperti Jethro Tull, Al Stewart, Eric Clapton dan Yes adalah nama-nama yang sudah saya kenal yang ada dalam kaset ini. Al Stewart, seorang penyanyi asal Inggris membawakan dua buah lagu nya yang menghanyutkan yaitu "Rock In The Ocean" dan "Optical Illusion"

Begitu juga dengan Nektar, sebuah grup band asal Jerman yang menganut aliran musik rock progressive ikut menyumbangkan dua buah lagu yang tak kalah bagusnya yaitu "Telephone" dan "Man In The Moon"

Dan grup band yang ketiga yang menyumbang dua buah lagunya yaitu Kerry Livgren, dia adalah pentolan grup musik tenar asal Amerika yang juga penganut aliran musik rock progressive yaitu Kansas, dia membawakan lagu andalannya yang berjudul "To Live For The King" dan "Ground Zero"

Akhirnya anda juga harus mendengarkan kembali musik yang sangat mempesona dalam kaset ini seperti lagu White City Lights (Roger Daltrey), dan Run Through The Light  (Yes).
