Pada tahun 80an lagu-lagu barat bisa direkam dan dijual sesuka hati tanpa membayar royalti kepada penyanyi asli, maka meakibatkan membanjirnya kaset album kompilasi barat dari para produsen rekaman musik, salah satu nya adalah perusahaan MusicBox ini, maka beruntunglah para jaduller yang telah 'terpaksa' menikmati suasana tersebut...
Walaupun tidak setenar Aquarius, Team, Kings, tetapi MusicBox banyak juga mengeluarkan album kompilasi yang tergolong bagus, seperti kaset yang berjudul "Top Pop New Entry 87" ini.
Pilihan lagu-lagu nya lumayan bagus, ada Nick Kamen (Win Your Love), CopyRight (Hypnotized ), Russel Hitchcock (The River Cried) , Lisa Lisa Cult Jam (Head To Toe), Whitney Houston (Moment Of' Truth).
