Prambors Disco VIII (Perina)

Perkembangan musik disko di tanah air sangat pesat seiring dengan banyaknya bermunculan diskotik-diskotik khususnya di kota-kota besar di Indonesia. Lagu-lagunya dipakai sebagai pengiring dalam berjoget ria seperti musik dangdut di Indonesia. Banyaknya stasiun radio yang sering memutar lagu-lagu yang berirama musik disco menambah suburnya pertumbuhan jenis musik ini.

Pada awal tahun '80an di Indonesia, perusahaan rekaman Perina pernah merilis album seri yang berisi lagu-lagu disko yang berjudul "Prambors Disco VIII"  untuk memenuhi hasrat anak muda yang menggemari jenis musik yang satu ini. Album ini berisi kumpulan 13 lagu disko hits yang sering diputar radio Prambors.

Saya kurang mengenal lagu-lagu berjenis musik ini, kecuali lagu-lagu disko yang populer saja, musisi-musisi seperti: The Jackson, Theo Vanes, Madleen Kane, Alan Sorrenti, Gloria Gaynor adalah penyanyi-penyanyi beken yang sering membawakan jenis musik ini, yang salah satu lagunya ada pada album ini.

Para penggemar lagu disko tahun 80'an pasti banyak yang mengenal lagu pada kaset ini, dan semua lagu pada album ini bisa membuat kita bernostalgia sambil bergoyang...
