Buat yang suka dengan musik Rock 'n Roll, kaset ini dapat menjadi referensi yang bagus dalam menambah perbendaharaan lagu jadul kita. Kaset yang berdurasi selama satu jam ini berisi lagu-lagu Rock n Roll yang pernah dirilis pada tahun 1983 sesuai dengan judulnya "Rock 'N Roll '83". Kaset ini diproduksi oleh Team Records dan memuat 19 buah lagu.
Dalam kaset ini musisi Shakin' Steven telah mencetak hattrick dengan berhasil mengemas 4 buah lagunya sekaligus. Penyanyi rock 'n roll asal Wales ini pernah populer di Indonesia dengan lagu manisnya yang berjudul "Because I Love you". Dan dia disini menyumbangkan lagu-lagu yang berirama Rock yang berjudul "Sapphire", "Josephine", "I'll be satisfied" dan "Vanessa"
Geraldine Brannigan seorang penyanyi wanita asal Irlandia lagunya ditempatkan sebagai lagu pembuka kaset ini, dan menariknya dia membawakan lagu slow populer yang pernah dinyanyikan oleh Rod Stewart namun dengan corak Rock 'n Roll.
Dan disini juga terdapat lagu yang sangat keren dan sangat kental aroma musik rock n roll nya, yaitu lagu yang berjudul "Rock 'N' Roll is king" yang dibawakan oleh grup musik rock asal Inggris yaitu Electric Light Orchestra (ELO), lagu ini diambil dari albumnya Secret Messages yang dirilis pada tahun 1983.
Selain itu ada beberapa lagu lain yang bisa membawa kita larut dalam suasana jadul yaitu: Kiddy, Kiddy kiss me (The Traiders), Who put the bump (Showaddy Waddy), Whirly girl (OXO), Keep on smiling (James Lloyd), Dynamite (Ronnie Spector)
